Firefall is suspended. Gates are now scheduled to open at 4pm with entertainment is starting at 6pm.
I’ve seen the radar from the National Weather Service and it’s not looking good for the rest of the day. If you were planning to go to Firefall, I’d make some backup plans for tonight just in case.
If you do plan to go, you might want to park at the Missouri Entertainment and Event Center (old Ozark Empire Fairgrounds) and ride the shuttles in. Here’s the info on that:
City Utilities will provide shuttles departing from the Missouri Entertainment and Events Center (formerly Ozark Empire Fair grounds) every 15 minutes between 4 and 8 p.m., and will return riders at the conclusion of the event.
Shuttle service fee is:
Regular bus fare (see below) plus $2.00 collected at the event site:
o Adults (ages 19-64) - $1.00 each way;
Youth (ages 5-1 
– 75 cents each way;
o Seniors (ages 65 and older) and Disabled – 50 cents each way
o Bus passes and/or tickets will be accepted
(ages 4 and under free)
There will not be a second shuttle this year from North Town Mall, as in past years, due to continued construction at the property.
