This is an update to my earlier Firefall update. Josh Gracin is going to be unable to perform because of scheduling conflicts according to the city press release:
The rescheduled 27th annual Firefall will take place Sunday, June 29, 2008, due to today’s inclement weather.
The tentative schedule for Sunday is as follows:

· 6 p.m. – Freefall Express skydiving team
· 6:30 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies with Color Guard, National Anthem, and hot air balloons
· 6:50 – 7:20 p.m. – Blue Plate Special
· 7:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Geezer
· 8:10 – 8:40 p.m. – C-Club
· 8:50 – 9:20 p.m. – M-Dock
· 9:20 p.m. – Crowd sings “God Bless America”
· 9:30 p.m. – Concert in the Sky with Ron Spigelman and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra
Featured headliners Josh Gracin and Johnny Lee will not be able to perform the rescheduled Sunday date.
Parking is available at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. City Utilities busses will depart approximately every 15 minutes between 5 and 8 p.m., and will return riders at the conclusion of the event. The shuttle service fee is the regular bus fare, plus $2 collected at the Fairgrounds. Onsite parking also is available for $8 for cars and trucks; $4 for motorcycles; $15 for RVs.
The Missouri Lottery will sell lottery tickets at the event, and have a second-chance drawing to win a $2,000 taxes paid gasoline giveaway. The Springfield Kitchen, Inc. also will be onsite throughout the event, collecting non-perishable food items and donations in an effort to restock its diminished summer food supply.
