Well, the bible does warn about people like “reverend” Ray. Some people use the bible to influence their own beliefs, others use their own beliefs to influence their opinions of the bible. I recommend calling on the News-Leader to remove this user of hate speech.

Usually I agree with Ray, though in this case I believe you are (sadly) correct. One of the the most horrific things about the bible is that it actually seems to mean what it says.

In general, Dr. Ray’s columns are very well-informed and thoroughly researched, so I’d be very interested to hear an in-depth view of why he thinks the bible does not condemn homosexuality (when I, like you, think it clearly does).

Fortunately, there is not a single good reason to believe that hardly any of it is true (and plenty of evidence to believe it isn’t), so those of us recognizing much of its contents as some of the most vile lunacy imaginable (beginning with its condemnation of the very ordinary people in the homosexual community) have plenty of ground to work with.

Yeah, you nailed this guy. It’s obvious that Ray has a real problem when anyone stands up to him and points out that what he’s saying can’t be backed up in any way. I know the buttkissers on the newspaper will keep saying that Ray wasn’t trying to say that stuff about you but anyone who reads his comments knows that’s exactly what he was saying about you. I think Elaine has a point.

I was ready to come in here and flame you after reading what Roger Ray wrote about you on the News-Leader message boards but after reading your posts I think Roger’s really gone off the deep end. I think you’re full of s*** on your positions on things but you’re obviously not insane or stalking Roger or anything like that. I don’t even see anything “libelous” here.

Look, like I said, I think you’re full of s*** but it’s just wrong what Roger Ray is doing to you.
