I was saddened to hear the news that Jayne Manley, wife of Springfield City Councilman Ralph Manley, passed away Saturday evening due to surgery complications. I never met Mrs. Manley but based on what I have heard her husband say about her she had to be a very special lady who was loved and will be missed by many people. My thoughts and prayers are with Councilman Manley and his family today.
