Chris Brewer (of local blog The World According To Chris Brewer) told me that since I have eight nominations I’m a lock to win at least one. I told him that there are dark forces out there conspiring to make sure I get shut out. Now we have to wait for Larry to announce the winners so we can see who’s paying for the pizza at Rocco’s Pizza on Highway 60 in Republic. (Great place to eat…I highly recommend it. He won at the Pizza Bowl a few weeks back for the second year in a row. Plus, with this bet, even if I lose I win. To quote Mr. Blik for a message to Chris….sucker…)
