OK…I’m not…but man does it feel good to have heat in this house again.
A big thank you to McGuire Plumbing and Heating for getting to the house quickly and getting the problem repaired much more inexpensively than I had feared it would end up. Not only did he fix the problem but took the time to walk through and show me what he did and what the problems were in detail. After their service today, I’d recommend them!
Thank you also to City Utilities for their fast response yesterday and their helpful advice on fixing the problem. I don’t know the name of the CU guy that was here…I think he said his name was John…but I hope his supervisor hears about this blog and gives him a gold star in his employment file. John took his time to find the problem, clearly explained the situation and even checked around to see if he had to shut down the whole house or just the section going to the water heater. Top notch guy, top notch effort.
