That populist drivel sounds insincere coming from someone who despises "winners of lifes' lottery". Wealth envy and class warfare get really tiresome, while at the same time solving absolutely nothing. And I was fed up to the proverbial here a long time ago with the redistributionist politicians who themselves are worth piles of money. I think that the idea that there are large groups of black people out there who can’t think for themselves is an offensive stereotype of black people, one which Bill O’Reilly obviously believes to be true. In context, his comment sounds patronizing and belittling, like he’s implying “good for you, black people! You’ve finally caught up with us free-thinking white folks!” I have heard several well-educated black people respond that that particular comment was the most insulting part of what he said. Yes, I actually think that.
